Here in “All About Electric Vehicles” is explained clearly and detailed, from basic knowledge of electric vehicle to an interview with developer or more technical terms. In this 1st Volume, Makoto Kataniwa, who is a member of the marketing team of the EV Business Development Department, tells about the basic knowledge of electric vehicle.

This time highlights the advantages of electric vehicle and the differences from hybrid vehicles.

Electric vehicles will innovate the parking space!

Q: Do you think electric vehicles have a possibility to change in our lives with cars in the future?

Can you imagine your car can be parked inside your house? We never thought we park the gasoline-powered vehicle inside our houses because they emit exhaust gas. However, it might be possible to have a parking space inside our houses in the future, because the i-MiEV emits no exhaust gas. And, the i-MiEV equips a compartment light, as well as air conditioner, so you can utilize its cabin as a room to enjoy listening to music or reading. If a car navigation system is equipped, you can also enjoy watching TV. The space you needed only for parking a car may be turned into another room! This sounds great, doesn't it?
